Partner Manager, North America 

Tacton has an exciting opening for a Partner Manager, North America to join our growing Channel & Alliances team. Channel & Alliances is the Tacton unit that secures software sales through, or with the support of, partners as well as supports those partners offering implementation services to Tacton’s end customers. 

 The Partner Manager will manage channel partners with the objective to secure revenue and develop the indirect sales of Tacton software. This role is important to ensure the success of partners, and Tacton’s growth within the SMB segment. You will be involved in the recruitment of new partners, and enablement of current and new to close Tacton deals. 

 The right person for this position is used to multi-tasking and working at a fast pace. You have a strong sense of ownership, are organizedhave great interpersonal skills and experience in negotiating with customers and partners. 

Our office in the USA is in Chicago and since this position is flexible remote, feel free to apply from anywhere in the US.  You need to have a valid work permit and the position requires traveling, once this is applicable again. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Responsible for supporting and driving sales through partners and resellers. Will be responsible to forecast and drive partner deals towards an assigned quota. 
  • Works with Tacton sales team to ensure alignment on joint opportunities 
  • Creates annual business plans with selected partners and follows up on a quarterly basis. Manages pipeline and forecasting for the territory 
  • Works with Marketing to drive marketing efforts through partners 
  • Enables partner with sales and technical tools. Aligns Sales Engineering or deal support when needed. 
  • Identifies new partnerships and strategic alliances, in addition to strengthening existing partners 


Required Skills/Experience: 

  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage a large volume of opportunities, tasks and responsibilities 
  • Previous experience in business development and sales 
  • Experience with SaaS-based services and pricing 
  • Experience with CPQ, PLM/PDM, CAD, and Design Automation 
  • Excellent situation management skills, with the ability to be fair and firm on lead registration, support contracts, and partner tier requirements 
  • Experience working in Salesforce CRM 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English. Swedish/German is a plus 
  • Strong customer service, listening, and presentation skills 
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience 
  • Self-Starter / High Energy / Positive Attitude / Customer Focused
