As we are growing we are now recruiting our next Sales Engineers!

About the role  

As Sales Engineer at Tacton you will get a deep understanding of the Why, How and What of Tacton, to able to demonstrate how we create business value and how Tacton can do that with our product. You will take ownership in technical sales cases where you discuss, capture and define customer’s high-level business requirements and map them to Tacton solution capabilities, often with help from your great product demos on customer data. You will bring value to our customer by challenging and inspire customers to transform Tacton solution capabilities into business values. By staying up to date with Tacton products and building up an industry knowledge you build trust with our customers and other stakeholders.  

As a sales engineers you will work closely with product management to make sure our products have a competitive advantage. We encourage you to always elaborate on ideas on how to improve our tools, our processes and ways of working and constantly develop and reuse our structural capital. 

The sales engineers work closely together and by actively helping the team with your skills you will support successful sales cases and make sure the team is always improving.

Who are you? 

We are looking for you who, like us, get that highly motivated feeling when a customer is happy, who are a true team player and has an appetite to learn about our products and explain how our product features transforms into business values. You have a consultative customer approach that is relevant in every interaction and you take control of the customer dialogue. You thrive in a fast-paced environment with a lot of customer interactionsYou have the ability to travelon average 20% of the time.

  • A Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science field or similar experience accumulated throughout your career 
  • Native English speaking or very good English, spoken and written. 
  • 5 years Sales Engineering or Pre-Sales experience in the IT industry 
  • Experience working with manufacturing companies 
  • Comfortable speaking and presenting to groups with convincing style 
  • challenger mindset
  • Solution Architecture knowledge
  • A Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) background 
  • ERP Experience – preferably from SAP 
  • CRM Experience – preferably Salesforce 
  • Experience in estimating service engagements
