Our customers include ABB, Scania, Siemens Healthineers, Bosch, Yaskawa, Ryder, Stryker, Wärtsilä, Husky, Provisur, Caterpillar, Alfa Laval and Mitsubishi among others. We operate globally and have offices in Sweden (Stockholm), Germany (Karlsruhe and Bochum), USA (Chicago) and Poland (Warsaw).

The Demo Engineer role will help to build and manage one of the most valuable sales assets: our standard demo environments. This is the core customer facing demo used by Solutions Engineers, Account Executives, and others across the company, as well as among our partners. As of date, Tacton has developed 4 standard demos targeting different kinds of industry segments (Heavy Vehicles, Production Lines, Medtech and Machinery).

We now intend to take the next steps:

  • Add more verticals/industries to our demos (e.g. Power generation)
  • Include more features and integrations into the demos to show the full spectrum of Tacton portfolio
  • Include more customer critical business processes into the demos, including ETO with CAD, change orders, upgrades, legal agreements, negotiations, subscription management, upsell, margin control, after-market, reseller support etc.
  • Create clearer connections between products features and Tacton’s value proposition, making the demos more compelling in sales situations
  • Work more proactively with Tacton R&D’s product releases so that the demos showcase new product features at the same time as they are released in the product


  • Create the world's best demo environment and tools for the Tacton sales and partners
  • Design and build new demo scenarios that highlight the value of our platform.
  • Increase sales success by improving demo quality and ability to innovate
  • Increase Sales Engineers’ productivity by reducing time required to configure demos
  • Research into Tacton’s target industries to identity challenges, business opportunities and best practices in each industry related to Smart Manufacturing
  • Define and implement customer scenarios and Smart Manufacturing concepts in our standard demos, by populating them with realistic and industry relevant content, data and business logic.
  • Liaison and coordinate with other teams in the R&D organization, including Tacton CPQ for Salesforce, Design Automation, SAP integration, Tacton Visualizer etc.
  • Stay alert on new technologies and product features coming out of Tacton
    R&D and proactively incorporating them into our standard demos
  • Track, research and implement solutions to issues affecting those using the demo environments
  • Provide thought leadership on demo development and execution
  • Become an expert in the Tacton platform and deliver creative ways to bring integrations to life
  • Monitor our standard demos and respond to inquiries, test, track and resolve issue

This work will be done in close collaboration with the Customer Business Process manager.

  • Learn more about the B2B manufacturing industry’s challenges, opportunities and business operations (e.g. within the area of Industry 4.0 and Smart manufacturing)
  • Learn the full range of Tacton’s technologies and how they create values for our customers
  • Be the first at Tacton to work with and test newly released portfolio features
  • Learn how to creatively convert industry challenges into Smart Manufacturing concepts in Tacton's portfolio
  • Interact with many parts of the Tacton organization and Tacton partners
  • You will have the opportunity to be part of our team based on cooperation, engagement and competent colleagues.
