About the role
As a Solution Consultant at Tacton you will support large multinational manufacturing companies in streamlining their sales processes through the implementation of customer specific Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ) solutions. You will provide expertise in Tacton products and the CPQ process, helping customers optimize their sales processes and improve their overall efficiency.

You won't be on this journey alone. You'll become part of a diverse and dynamic team, collaborating with individuals who bring unique backgrounds and experiences to the table.

What you will do
The Solution Consultant plays a crucial role in analyzing, mapping, and implementing the customer's product structures and business processes, with a focus on product modeling and application configuration. You are expected to serve as a trusted advisor to customers, gather requirements, estimate project timelines, and ensure successful project delivery. In this role you will contribute to Tacton's mission of addressing technical and sales challenges for its customers in the manufacturing sector.

As a Solution Consultant you will provide expertise, best practices, and creative solutions to meet customer needs, helping them leverage Tacton CPQ to achieve business value and engage with their customers more effectively. You will serve as a trusted advisor, demonstrating a strong business acumen were your primary responsibility will be translating customer requirements into innovative solutions.

Additionally, you will collaborate on project planning together with Tacton´s Project Managers, and effectively communicate with customers, handling requirements and deliveries independently.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• IT product company experience, preferably in SaaS.
• Familiarity with multinational manufacturing.
• 3+ years in customer-facing roles consultancy roles or similar positions
• Proficiency in spoken and written English, business-level proficiency in German would be an advantage.
