About the role
As a Senior Solution Consultant at Tacton your role is guide manufacturing enterprises in the refinement of their sales methodologies, achieved through the strategic implementation of tailored Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ) solutions.
The Senior Solution Consultant plays a crucial role in analyzing, mapping, and implementing the customer's product structures and business processes, with a focus on product modeling and application configuration. This also includes a mentoring role, actively coaching and imparting knowledge to colleagues, with a focus on product modeling and application configuration. This mentorship-oriented approach contributes to empower customers in the refinement of their sales strategies and the enhancement of overall operational efficiency.

What you will do
The Senior Solution Consultant will provide advanced expertise on Tacton products, the CPQ process, and mentor colleagues in these areas. You are expected to serve as a trusted advisor to customers, gather requirements, estimate project timelines, and ensure successful project delivery. In this role you will contribute to Tacton's mission of addressing technical and sales challenges for its customers in the manufacturing sector. As a Senior Solution Consultant you will lead the strategic implementation of highly customized CPQ solutions for clients, serving as their trusted advisor.
Beyond serving as a trusted advisor you will also take on the role of a mentor to your colleagues, guiding them to enhance their skills in these areas.
Additionally, you will collaborate closely with Project Managers at an advanced level to ensure seamless project execution. Your exceptional skills in managing and mitigating complex project risks are integral to project success. With this comprehensive approach that encompasses leadership, mentorship, and expertise, you will be a catalyst for progress within both our team and our client projects.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- IT product company experience, preferably in SaaS.
- Familiarity with multinational manufacturing.
- At least 5 years of experience in customer-facing consultancy roles or similar positions.
- Leadership and mentorship training to enhance coaching and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, and at least a business-level proficiency in German.
