About the role
As Solution Architect in the Sales Engineering team at Tacton you will be actively involved in our sales process. You will be perceived by the Customer as a trusted technical counterpart, understanding their needs and providing valuable and concrete solutions.
You'll become part of a diverse and dynamic team, collaborating with individuals who bring unique backgrounds and experiences to the table. You will report to Johan Jacobsson, VP Sales Engineer. This role will require travel to some extent and you can work remotely from Sweden or Germany.
What you will do
As a key member of the Sales Engineering team, your role involves leading workshops and technical presentations, highlighting the relevant business values tailored to the customer's context. Your expertise will be central to being able to build strong customer engagement with the aim of building trust and substantiating how our solution meets the unique needs of each customer.
As a Solution Architect you will create solution designs that align with customer needs and business goals. You will work closely with the customers to be able to address technical concerns, answer queries, and provide architecture support, ensuring a fantastic customer experience.
In addition, your role includes influencing and suggesting changes to customer requirements, strategically positioning Tacton as the strongest vendor. You will enter the opportunities with authority and act as a trusted advisor.
- 5+ years of experience in software companies
- Master of Science degree, or equivalent
- Previous Solution architecture experience- You should be able to put Tacton solution in context within customer IT infrastructure
- Experience with common IT systems such as ERP, CRM, PLM
- Experience of working with Saas solutions
- SAP VC experience is an advantage
- Previous knowledge of CPQ is an advantage.
- Previous experience as a Sales Engineer in software companies is an advantage.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English and German.
