Partner Sales Manager
As Partner Sales Manager, you'll grow Tacton's revenue through partners rather than direct sales. Your primary focus will be generating qualified pipeline and closing business through existing resellers and partners in your region. Approximately 80% of your time will focus on partner activation, sales enablement, and joint selling, with 20% on selectively developing new strategic partners.
You'll succeed through influence, planning, and enablement: helping partners succeed while owning the partner-sourced pipeline target and channel bookings goals.
For manufacturers of highly configurable products, Tacton AI combines the speed and accessibility of generative AI with Tacton’s trusted configuration intelligence to accelerate how complex products are sold, defined and delivered— helping manufacturers respond to their buyers faster, while keeping experts fully in control.
What you'll do
• Sell through resellers. Build a reseller channel that brings Tacton to new customers, co-sell to close deals, and track partner-attributed revenue, conversions, and ROI.
• Activate and grow partners. Develop joint account plans and pipeline-generation activities with existing partners. Selectively recruit and onboard new partners where there is a clear commercial opportunity.
• Nurture relationships. Keep partners engaged and productive, pursue co-sell opportunities, and resolve channel conflict with Tacton's direct sales team.
• Build strategic alliances. Plan joint initiatives with high-value partners designed to develop partner pipeline and drive revenue through the partner channel,
• Drive partner sales execution. Agree pipeline and bookings goals with partners, review opportunity progress, and work with partner sellers and Tacton AEs to advance and close deals.
• Enable partners. Equip partner sales teams to prospect, qualify opportunities, position Tacton, and progress enterprise deals through joint account planning, sales coaching, and aligned go-to-market activities.
• Track partner health. Monitor partner performance, commitments, and delivery milestones.
What you bring
• 10+ years of experience in partner, channel, or alliance management in enterprise B2B software
• A track record of generating qualified pipeline and closing complex enterprise software deals through resellers and joint selling with partners
• Proven results against partner-sourced pipeline and bookings targets, with a clear view of sourced versus influenced revenue
• The ability to drive sales execution through partners, with confidence in commercial terms and partner agreements
• The ability to earn the trust of partner executives and internal sales teams alike
• Experience with AI, both in positioning AI-powered solutions with partners and customers and in using AI tools to work more effectively
• Experience with CPQ, PLM, ERP, or manufacturing software is a strong plus
