About the role as Director Professional Services

We are looking for a Director Professional Services to our German office in Karlsruhe. In this role you are responsible for developing and coaching Tacton’s two German teams in Karlsruhe and Bochum.

We are looking for you with strengths in leadership and business orientation. Your staff responsibility will be for 15-20 experienced team members in Visualisation, CPQ Modelling, System Development and Project Management. You need to have a genuine interest of value-based leadership where Tacton’s values are Engagement, Cooperation and Commitment are central for us. Your interfaces will be your team members, Tacton´s Directors Professional Services, Customer responsible and Service Sales as well as Shared Service.

You will handle resource requirements, collaborate with colleagues in our global departments and follow up results as well as contribute to execute on Tacton’s strategy and vision. We want you to wisely allocate your 15-20 team members for our customer delivery projects ad for internal tasks. This means you need to know your team members closely, both their skills-set and their individual development plans. The role also includes responsibility for process development regarding methods and knowledge.

Your responsibility will be for the teams in Germany, and you will collaborate with the Directors Professional Services in Sweden and Poland. Your location is Karlsruhe and you report to the Vice President Professional Services in Stockholm.

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, leadership experience from line management and a structured way of working.


We are looking for you who have

  • proven record of people management, leadership, building relationship and trust.
  • strong interest in developing, mentoring and coaching team members, build a world class team
  • experience from setting performance expectations, conducting performance and salary reviews.
  • experience from management team collaboration and from working with tactical and strategic issues
  • been responsible for a team’s budget and profitability
  • been responsible of recruiting
  • preferably experience of international implementation projects.
  • experience from managing escalated issues and collaborating with other stakeholders to expedite resolution.
  • manage personnel issues and team conflicts to resolution.
  • a master’s degree or similar in IT
  • good knowledge in English and Germany, both spoken and written
  • excellent presentation and communication skills


Mandatory:

  • Excellent in verbal and written communication both in German and English.
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
  • Strongly proactive approach and self-starter.
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic changes.
