Position Summary
As a Senior Software Developer at Tacton, you’ll contribute to building innovative and robust software solutions that power our renowned Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ) product. In this role, you’ll leverage your technical expertise to create solutions that meet the needs of global manufacturers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Deliver: Design and implement scalable, robust applications using primarily Java and JavaScript
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, and other stakeholders to ensure deliveries are aligned with both technical and business objectives
  
• Maintain and Enhance: Continuously improve existing systems, enhancing functionality and addressing technical debt
  
• Document and Communicate: Clearly describe and document software solutions for team members and stakeholders
• Encourage Collaboration and Positivity: Join an experienced and supportive team, whose environment fosters collaboration, creativity, and a forward-thinking mindset

Requirements
We are looking for a skilled software developer with over 5 years of experience in building and maintaining high-quality software products. You should have a strong background in Java, with the ability to develop scalable backend solutions, and the flexibility to contribute across the stack, including frontend technologies.

• Expertise in Java development 
  
• Proven ability to transform functional needs into successful solutions
  
• Independent and self-managed work style
• Experience with cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker and AWS
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Preffered:

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Typescript
• Experience in SaaS product development
• Knowledge of SQL, .Net, and C# (beneficial for certain projects)
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with test automation
